SCENIC SIGHTS IN THE WEST

This area is very rainy and wet.
The large forest may give you an impression of dark and cold.

STRAHAN
If you visit Tasmania, you have to make time to take a Gordon River Cruise on a fine day. The reflection in the red-brown water which contains tannin from fallen leaves is like a huge mirror. You cannot see something like this in any other places in the world. However if it rains, the view is as featureless as other river cruises. It rains about 2/3 of the year in this area, so you have to be in luck.

QUEENSTOWN
Its strange scenary of bare hills may make you feel being in a different planet. This unnatural landscape was caused from toxic water from the mines.

WOODS IN THE WEST
Woods are covered by moss because of the wet.
